Job Description
Duties are performed under the supervision of a senior engineer or technical project manager. Responsibilities of a WAN Engineer are as follows: assist in the design and implementation of WANs using hub and router technology, perform hardware/software analysis to provide comparative data of performance characteristics and suitability within the existing systems environment, prepare trade-off studies and evaluations for vendor equipment, assist in generating network monitoring and performance reports for WAN utilization studies and recommend network design changes/enhancements for improved system availability and performance.Job Qualifications
Knowledge includes demonstrated capability in at least one primary network element, such as operating systems, platforms or protocols.Contact Information
