Title: Senior Network Management Systems Engineer
Location: Northern Virginia
Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance required.

Project Description:Our client is looking for a Senior level Network Engineer that can come in there and help them with their initiatives.  This program provides remote support for 300-400 sites world wide and in setting up networks for small covert sites CONUS and OCONUS.                          

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Design, implement & integrate enterprise network management applications and hardware platforms. Evaluate and quantify existing network management system stabilization/effectiveness and analyze/design/implement changes to improve stability/effectiveness. Provide support to determine the inefficiencies in network event management architecture through data collection and analysis. Assist with planning enhancements to the enterprise network management architecture.  Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. 

Skills:Required:- experience in Network Management to include: evaluation of network management systems architecture, evaluation of network management applications/configurations and deployment of network management application- Network Management software application installation, configuration, testing & evaluation- Network and Network Management System analysis- General Dynamics Encryptor Manager (GEM) 8 and GEM X- KG-240 (Red Eagle) experience 

Desired:-CCNA-ITIL Fundamentals Certification-Solaris 8, 9, & 10 installation & configuration- HP OpenView Network Node Manager series 7 installations- Oracle 10g installation & configuration- UNIX and/or PERL shell programming
